Faults we see most
- Machine filling and draining but not washing
- Drum refusing to spin with the lid closed
- Pulsator turning weakly or not at all
- Water filling very slowly
- Load ending up bunched on one side
- Grinding noise from underneath the tub
Lid switches, pulsators, gearboxes and water inlet valves replaced to bring back a full, balanced wash.
About this service
Top loaders usually stop working because of the lid switch or the gearbox. The lid switch is a safety part that tells the machine the lid is closed, and when it fails the machine simply refuses to spin. The gearbox drives the pulsator, and when that wears the drum fills and drains but nothing actually gets washed.
